Quality Products

We take meticulous care in all aspects of the production and care of our Johnson-Su compost.  We seek to provide only the very highest quality compost.

Quality and Consistency is our Goal:

  • All non-wood feedstocks are Certified Organic.

  • Well mixed, uniform feedstock

  • Bioreactors are gestated year around in a temperature controlled building for optimum growing conditions.

  • Bioreactors are watered multiple times daily with an automated misting system to maintain optimum moisture content.

  • Moisture content is evaluated periodically throughout the bioreactors utilizing the accurate heat oven methodology.

  • We utilize IBC totes to ensure that the outside edges do not dry out; this combined with our multiple daily misting guarantees that the compost is of uniform moisture content throughout.

“ I've never honestly seen so many fungal spores as you had in sample #30.  It's clear to me that you are refining your recipe and it's amazing how much of a difference 10% of one thing and 10% less of another can make such a difference in the microbial community.  Please continue to help farmers with your good culture!”
